While the Palma–Soller train is unique, the rest of the island’s public transport relies heavily on buses, especially the TIB network, which covers key tourist spots such as Alcudia on the northeast coast and Pollenca further inland. For reaching the beautiful coves like Cala Mondrago or Es Trenc, buses connect with towns nearby but often a car or taxi might be more practical. Roads such as the Ma-13 and Ma-19 wind through scenic areas, making bus or car trips quite atmospheric.
